Fleek, a platform that combines Cloudflare, Vercel, and Web3 technologies, offers developers an effortless way to deploy and scale sites and apps on the new web using any preferred underlying protocols to power their sites. Fleek provides everything from hosting, storage, gateways, domains, and more, making it easy to deploy sites and apps to unstoppable, uncensorable web3 protocols such as IPFS, the Internet Computer, and many more.
As we prepare to launch a new Fleek platform and Fleek Network, an Open Source Application Delivery Network, we are seeking a Business Development lead to help expand our ecosystem and grow our client base, technology integrations, and partnerships. Our ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with experience in the Web3 and blockchain ecosystem who can establish strong relationships with developers across existing and new communities.

- Build inbound and outbound pipelines for both our products, across different verticals such as clients, integrations, commercial partners, Web3 infrastructure, and node operators.
- Manage the client funnel from initial connection to deal execution.
- Manage the technical integrations and partnership funnel with key Web3 players, from Web3 infrastructure that can grow our offering to potential commercial opportunities.
- Provide support and maintain relationships with our leads, acting as a bridge between them and Fleek’s technical, support, or commercial representatives.
- Develop a growth strategy focused on both expanding Fleek’s ecosystem and customer/lead satisfaction.
- Drive adoption of Fleek’s product stack through partnerships with key projects and builders in the ecosystem, taking our releases to our partners.
- In order to effectively expand into the target market, it is essential to identify potential partners and integrations. This requires conducting thorough research on prospective partners to gain insight into their business and requirements. By doing so, you can determine which partners are most suitable for collaboration and create a strategy for forming strong partnerships.
- As part of this strategy, it is important to research, plan, and execute new initiatives in the target market. This involves identifying opportunities for growth and developing plans to leverage those opportunities effectively. Additionally, researching prospective partners in the target market can provide valuable insights into market trends and opportunities for expansion.
- Attending conferences and industry events is crucial to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the web3 space. Both online and offline events can provide valuable networking opportunities and allow you to gain insight into the latest advancements in the field.
To excel in this role, it is necessary to possess specific qualifications:
- A passion for web3 and blockchain is essential, as is
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development.
- Additionally, proven sales experience in SaaS and digital products is required.
- Having a self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset is crucial for success in this role,
- A willingness to learn and continuously improve.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must,
- The ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Lastly, comfort in making autonomous decisions is a key attribute.
